Yes,they were posted on the message board on www.bluefringe.com
"
On my way downtown-
I ran into a friend of mine
She asked, ?Are you dating anyone now??
And I replied with much dismay, ?I think that I can safely say I?m the only one in the whole entire orthodox community, my age, not engaged, or dating now.?
She said ?How come? Do you wanna get set up? Do you have someone in mind??
I shrugged my shoulders, said, ?I really don?t got one.?
She said, ?Don?t worry cuz I will be your shadchan.?
So she called up her friend and she told her all about me.
Did she decline?
No
Didn?t she mind?
I don?t think so.
Does she wear pants?
I?m not sure.
Does she shake men?s hands?
Let me update.

CHORUS-
I got set up on Monday.
We went on the shidduch date on Tuesday.
We had the l?chayim by Wednesday.
OnlySimchas Thursday and Friday and Shabbos, the wedding?s on Sunday.
Sheva berachot Monday.
More sheva berachot on Tuesday.
We got sheva berachot on Wednesday, sheva berachot Thursday and Friday and Shabbos,
Move to Teaneck on Sunday. "

Shmush, here it is, courtesy of Camp Chomesh songbook :) TTO the Sound of Silence:

Through a vale of tears I peek
Forgotten memories I seek
Searching for a world destroyed in vain
Looking for those who died in blood and pain
Why am I alive
Why did I survive, all alone
Keili, Keili lamah.

In that cursed place of tears
In that wretched world of fears
I never saw another butterfly
It was so beautiful it made me cry
A ray of light
In that dakest night it helps me live
Keili, keili lamah.

Sometimes at night I lie awake
Remembering all whom death did take
Please help now HaKadosh Baruch Hu
I am so grateful still to be a Jew
It is my light in the darkest night
Now I must live
Keili, Keili lamah.

k, its really been a while, but if u still want the lyrics for track 5 on destiny 4, here they are.

In a townsquare in Madrid
in 1492
a choice is being given
to a philosopher, a Jew.

"Convert or die"
is what they say
"Embrace the cross,
we'll honor you today."

Confusion fell upon him
like an ominous black cloud,
slowly he stepped forward
and faced the gathered crowd.

Questions swirled around him,
philosophy and doubt.
Clarity escaped his mind,
no time to think things out.

Baptized by the river,
Paul became his name.
The once great philosopher,
now of Christian fame.

But deep in his heart,
the questions did not die.
Some say that on his deathbed,
they think they saw him cry.

Then his soul rose up to heaven,
stood before the Holy One,
"My dear son,
My dear son".

"You gave up truth and meaning
for a life of pride and fame.
You must return to earth again
to sanctify My Name."

To a Christian father and a Jewish mother
in 1954,
a child is born into this world,
he's been here once before.

He grew up to be a philosopher,
a great preacher of his day,
minister of the largest church
in the USA.

But the more he studied,
disillusioned he became.
"How can I continue?"
one day he did exclaim.

"No longer can i preach
that which I don't believe.
The day has come, I know,
I've got to leave!"

Sunday morning, the chuch was packed,
with 2000 people, maybe more.
The minister, now a proud Jew,
stood there like so many times before.

He knew the truth,
as he stood there before the crowd.
But suddenly, confusion fell upon him,
like an ominous, black cloud.

Questions swirled around him,
philosophy and doubt.
Clarity escaped his mind,
no time to think things out.

But in his heart, he knew
that which his mind did see.
He felt the truth inside his soul as he began to speak.

"My dear congregation,
no longer can I deceive.
Judaism is the truth
I do perceive."

The crowd rose up against him,
he fell upon the floor.
They trampled him to his death,
as they rushed out past the door.

His soul rose up to heaven,
stood before the Holy One,
"My dear son,
My dear son."

"You clung to truth and meaning
instead of pride and fame.
Come and sit beside Me now,
you sanctified My Name."

Someone wanted these lyrics, I think.

The plane took off on schedule from La Guardia
On a bright clear sunny summer's day
What a cheerful trio they appeared to be
They were off the ground westward bound
To the aithiest convention in LA

Peter was a lawyer from Manhattan
Mohemmad sold used cars in Sheepshead Bay
Howard was a dentist out in Woodmere
with the clouds below they were on the go
to the athiest convention in LA

Chorus:
Aren't you glad that we'll be staying in the Hilton
I can't wait til I can visit Disneyland
Did you hear this year thy're letting in agnostics?
The convention should be absolutly grand

There'll be speeches that will ponder our existence
Religious dogma will come under fierce attack
That we all once were primates is our motto
And the big bang's not a theory but a fact.

Peter ordered white wine with his dinner
Howard and Mohammed asked for gin
There was a chosid in the next row eating kosher
Could he be so naive to still believe
That someone up there's watching over him

Suddenly there was a big explosion
Everyone began to scream and yell
the plane was in a spin and losing altitude
Peter cried "mercy father" Mohammed "spare me Allah"
and in Hebrew Howard said, "Shma Yisroel"

Chorus
just before that final awful impact
when everyone was sure that they would die
somehow somewhy the engines came to life again
just a few yards from the trees
with what seemed to be great ease
The pilot flew the plane back to the sky

Everyone gave thanks to G-d in heavan
"It was a miracle that saved us on this day"
The chosid turned and asked the trio with a smile,
"with your true colors showing, will you three still be going
to the athiest convention in LA"

Peter's now a preist in Cincinnati
Mohammed built a mosque in Santa Fe
and Howard's still a dentist out in Woodmere
But now they call him Chaim'l, and on shabbos he wears a streim'l
cause their buried faith ignited
while flying on united
to the athiest convention in LA

That's the best I could do, and I'll be happy do more lyrics if I'm able.
I never responded to frumteens, but I really enjoy everything that's going on here. I'm already way past high school, but I feel what's happening here is extremelyu important. I wish Hatzlacha to everyone.

proud2befrum- sry, i dont, but i do have the lyrics 2 worldwide peace convention in bombay (parody of atheist convention) if u want
imAtahMeamin Posted - 03 March 2004 18:55
msunkown-yea, abt that "deep in your heart" song you posted a while back, i've always wanted to know the lyrics, they sing it in sternberg , especially on tish'a b'av. the harmony is unreal, and you're sitting on the floor, waiing for the fast to end, the lights are off, last bits of daylight filtering in, and a small choir has captivated a roomful of girls. it's so hauntingly gorgeous when they sing it...
proud2bfrum Posted - 05 March 2004 15:24
thatguy, Thank you so much, you made my week!
nechy, I've never heard of that song. Could you post it, I'm so curious.
idunno90 Posted - 16 March 2004 16:07
iwill- i know u posted the legend of the dove song a while ago (isnt it called higher and higher) but the part you forgot was:
first the tiger, then the jackel,
then the bear and then the snake
when they'd attack the dove would run
and the dove barely escaped

o and when you wrote "it seemed as the attack would be his fate" its just "and the attack would be his fate"

in 6th grade my teacher brought it in and she stopped the tape after every line for us to get all of the words so im pretty sure i have the lyrics right

i love this song!!

nechy Posted - 16 March 2004 21:40
idunno90- actually it's "and death would be his fate"
