ditto on what josh said- BH you are fortunate to have parents that really care about you! of course it's hard and i'm totally not trying to minimize it but step back every once in a while and realize you're lucky!

this is a about a year after i posted my first text complaining about my parents being overprotective and baruch hashem i gained a totally different perspective on the matter. though it is still annoying and exremely trying at times, i learned to count my blessings and realize it could be much worse.at least they care about me and love me. i'm sure many poeple wish they had overprotective parents, its much better than parents who let them do whatever they want and dont care. i learned that everything in life that seems annoying could also be looked at as a big bracha. im serious. EVERYTHING. think about it

I can understand where you're coming from.
You are absolutely right-you're not a baby anymore...but, you will always be your parent's child.
Always remember that :)
You can 56, (and AMERTZ HASHEM, you will be one day...and live till past 120) but, you will still always be your parent's baby.
Don't be in such a rush to grow up!
But, if you really feel like you are SO mature...have a sit down with your parents...confront them and express your concerns respectfully...like a real adult.
